I am a scientist at the Julius Kuehn Institute (which is the German Federal Research Centre for Cultivated Plants) in the section of Ecological Chemistry, Plant Analysis and Stored Product Protection, and head of the Freshwater Protection and Management research group.
My research interests mainly focus on human-freshwater ecosystem interaction and the protection of freshwaters from anthropogenic pressures. In particular, I am working on the impacts of chemical stressors and hydromorphology on benthic invertebrates. Currently, my research focuses on small lentic water bodies in agricultural areas to protect biodiversity at the landscape level. The following word cloud produced from all abstracts of my publications aims to summarize my research interests. |
